What level of German do I need?
Edelvox is built for adults at the intermediate plateau, roughly A2 and up: you know a lot of the rules, but using them automatically when you speak is the hard part. The content runs A2 to B2. If you’re still at the individual-word stage, a beginner app will serve you better first.
What’s free and what’s Premium?
Free, with no account and no limits: the ten grammar trainers, the Practice Library of 40+ shadowing scenarios with audio, the full grammar reference, and flashcard review. Premium is the personal loop built on your own writing: native-level corrections, shadowing your corrected sentences, and a daily conversation about what you wrote. Your first corrections and first conversation are free to try.
How much does Edelvox cost?
Downloading Edelvox is free, and the trainers, Practice Library, and grammar reference stay free with no limits. Premium is $14.99 per month or $79.99 per year, and the annual plan includes a 7-day free trial. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.
Do I need to use the microphone?
No. You can type your entries and shadow by repeating out loud on your own. Dictation is optional but encouraged.
How private is my data?
Your writing isn’t stored in a database. Corrections, conversation, and transcription of anything you dictate are processed by OpenAI. The audio you hear is generated by ElevenLabs. We collect anonymous usage analytics only, which you can turn off in Settings. See the full Privacy Policy.
Is there an Android version?
Coming soon. Edelvox is iPhone-only at launch, but Android is in the works. Sign up to be notified when it’s ready.
