A lot of Edelvox is free, with no limits and no account: the ten grammar trainers, the 40+ shadowing scenarios with audio (A1 to B2), the full grammar reference, and flashcard review. Premium adds the personal loop: corrections on your own writing (with plain explanations and English translations), custom drills on any topic, one conversation a day with an AI partner, and adding your own vocabulary words. Your first corrections are free to try.

$14.99 per month, or $79.99 per year with a 7-day free trial (annual plan only). Local pricing applies in other regions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Edelvox to change or cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the current period.

Your diary entries, vocabulary, and settings stay on your device, no account required. When you use AI features (grammar correction, speech-to-text, conversation), your text or audio is sent to our server for real-time processing but is not stored in any server-side database. We do collect anonymous product analytics (via PostHog) so we can understand how the app is used; you can switch this off in Settings → Send anonymous analytics. See the full Privacy Policy.

Go to Settings and tap "Export Backup." This creates a JSON file you can save or share. To restore, use "Import Backup" on the same or a new device.

Yes. You can type entries manually and still get grammar corrections, translations, and shadowing exercises. Dictation is optional but encouraged.

The AI-powered features (grammar correction, text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and conversation with an AI partner) require a connection to process your requests. The grammar trainers work fully offline, and writing entries and reviewing past entries works offline too.

Go to Settings and tap "Clear All Data" to delete everything. You can also delete individual diary entries by swiping on them in the Shadow tab.

Edelvox uses OpenAI's GPT-4o (grammar correction, translation, conversation), OpenAI Whisper (speech-to-text), and ElevenLabs (text-to-speech). RevenueCat handles subscriptions, and PostHog handles anonymous analytics. Your text and audio are sent to these providers only to deliver the feature you're using, and we don't store a copy on our servers. OpenAI does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms, see our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
